The Northeast Harbor Library has a well kept secret, a wonderful book sale room located in their basement.  There are all kinds of books, audios and DVDs and a “collector’s shelf” for all ages.  The hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30-5 p.m. All proceeds from the book sale benefit the library.  For more information, call the library at 276-3333.

Animal Tracks and Ice Online Talk

Blue Hill Heritage Trust and Island Heritage Trust will continue to offer Zoom sessions for remote learners and homeschoolers, but in 2021 they will be specifically for kids!  They will share fun science lessons as well as nature crafts on different monthly themes. Kids ages 4-13 are welcome to log on and participate in an interactive session.  The theme for Wed Feb 3 at 10 am is “Animal Tracks and Ice.”  Register by calling 374-5118.

Acadia Winter Festival

The Schoodic Institute at Acadia National Park is hosting the seventh annual Acadia Winter Festival from Thurs Feb 4 through Sun Feb 7th. This year’s festival offers outdoors and online activities for adults, children, families and friends.  All events are free but registration is required. Hospice Myths Debunked Online Talk

Drawing Classes Online

Via Zoom, Schoodic Arts for All is hosting a four week drawing class with artist/teacher Kat Logan.  The classes begin on Thurs Feb 4 from 6 to 7:30 pm.
