Meetinghouse Theatre Lab
On Sun Oct 25 at 2 pm at the Gouldsboro Town Park, the Meetinghouse Theatre Lab presents Pat Olsen who will direct readings of several short plays. The Northeast Harbor Library’s annual winter workshops are going virtual this year. This year, participants will register with the library, receive a kit of materials and follow along with a virtual tutorial to make something together. The first free workshop will be held on Wed Oct 28 at 5 pm and will be making leaf mandala printed handkerchiefs. Registration is limited to 15, first come, first served. For four nights only, The Grand will present Terror Theater Act II. Patrons pick a specific time and arrive minutes before their private experience; no need to stand in line. Patrons enter with their party (up to eight tickets may be purchased at a time) and don’t come into contact with anyone else except the denizens of Terror Theater. The Franklin Veterans Club says to get your costume and dancing shoes ready - cuz Friday, October 30th starting at 7pm, they're holding a big Halloween bash! There'll be live music, cash prizes for the top 4 costume categories and fun games with prizes (yes even some cheesy prizes). The Ark Animal Shelter in Cherryfield is holding an OUTSIDE "HOWL-O-WEEN" Dog Costume Contest on Saturday, October 31st (Halloween!) starting at 2pm AT the shelter located at 60 Barber Lane. There's a 10 dollar entry fee for each dog you register. Recognition will be given to "Most Creative," "Most Funny" and "Best Overall" dog costumes.
