The Bucksport United Methodist Church is offering a takeout only lobster stew dinner on Friday, July 31. The meal includes lobster stew, salad, a roll and dessert for $12.50 per person. Pay and pick-up will be from 5:30-6:30 pm. Please come to the door on the parking lot side of the church building- located at 3 River Road, Bucksport. Guided Hiking Tours in Ellsworth
On Sat Aug 1, the Stanwood Wildlife Sanctuary will celebrate Cordelia J. Stanwood's 155th birthday by providing guided tours from 10 to 2 pm in Ellsworth on the southern part consisting of newly constructed trails. Entrance is on the lower end of the Beechland Road towards Bayside Road and turn north on the Deer Field Road to the end. For more information, call 667-8460.
