Birdhouse Building at Blue Hill Public Library

Kids and their families are invited to come build a birdhouse at the Blue Hill Library on Fri July 17 at 10 am. Join interns from Holbrook Island Sanctuary outside in the library parking lot, where they will instruct kids how to assemble birdhouses designed for black-capped chickadees. Each family will get their own table to work at. The workshop is free with limited space and materials, so participants are asked to note safety precautions and register for this event…

The Noontime Rotary Club of Ellsworth is hosting its Annual Electronic Waste Collection Event at the Ellsworth Home Depot on Myrick Street from 7 to noon on Saturday, July 18th. Residents are asked to remain in the vehicle during the drop-off process. E-waste being collected includes tvs, computers, photocopiers, microwaves, cell phones and fax machines. Donations appreciated for individual drop off.

The Union Congregational Church of Hancock pie sale is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, from 9 to noon at 1368 U.S. Highway 1, Hancock.
