Taxpayers 50 and older can get free tax filing help at the Ellsworth Public Library. The AARP Tax Aide Program offers assistance Tuesdays from 9 to 4:30, starting February 6th. All volunteers are certified by the IRS, and you can book an appointment by calling the library at 667-63-63.

Actors age 15 and up are invited to audition for The Grand's production of Charlotte's web, with two shows in April... and nine shows on Labor Day Weekend at the Blue Hill Fair. The 3rd Annual Candy Land Walk is on Saturday February 10 - from 11am to 1pm at the Jonesboro Grange in Jonesboro Maine.   Walk through candyland and fill up a box with sweets and treats for $7. The Milbridge Theatre invites you to enjoy Contradance with The Reversing Falls Band.  Contra dancing is not hard to learn and is an easy way to get some exercise while enjoying community.  Fun for all ages – two sessions; Saturdays, Feburary 10th and March 9th from 7 to 10 p.m.  $10 for adults, $5 for those under age 13.

Sunday, February 11th, the Franklin Veterans Club will open at 4 pm for pre-game viewing and to spend the evening watching the Super Bowl.  We'll have a variety of snack food options - hot dogs, appetizers, pizza, and more. Join Kristen Carlson at the Jesup Memorial Library in Bar Harbor for Candle-Lit Yoga.  The session is scheduled for February 13th at 5:30 and is free and open to the public.  The evening will include all levels of gentle yoga and postures, with a lightly paced slow flow, suitable for all levels.  Bring a yoga mat if you have one.  You are asked to pre-register through the Jesup.
