Trunk or Treat in East Machias
The Senior Class at Washington Academy is sponsoring their Annual Trunk or Treat event on Saturday October 28th from 1-2pm on the Washington Academy campus. Entrance is $5 per child, or $10 max per family. Kids wear your costumes, tour the decorated vehicle lots, and load up on treats! This is a safe, fun-filled trick or treating experience for the whole family! See you on October 28th from 1-2! (Rain date is scheduled for the following day.)

Halloween Contra Dance party is on Saturday October 28th from 6-10pm in Surry. All are welcome to this modern "techno" contra with remixed pop, rock and dance tunes. No partner or experience needed. The free Community Dance is at 6pm, followed by the Contra Dance at 7pm, entry is $10-$20 suggested. Costumes welcome, prizes, candy potluck, awesome lighting. Town of Sorrento is hosting a Family Halloween Costume Party On Sunday October 29th, from 2-4 pm at the Sorrento Community Building! Buoy Tree Benefit in Ellsworth
Blank buoys will be available at the Ellsworth Chamber and the Ellsworth Public Library for $20 a piece. Please decorate and return to the Chamber by Nov 20th. Cash or check only.
