Lobster Festival in Jonesboro
Jonesboro Grange Lobster Festival is August 12 and 13. On Saturday, a craft fair is happening from 9 to 2 pm. On Sunday there will be a Lobster Lunch from 11 to 2pm. The grange is located at 746 US Route 1 in Jonesboro. The 22nd Annual Carol Dyer Memorial Luminaria Evening takes place Saturday, August 12th, on the Bar Harbor Village Green, honoring those who've lost their lives to cancer. The event happens from 7 to 9:30 pm, with bags available at the event for a suggested 10-dollar donation. Proceeds benefit the Breast Health Center at MDI Hospital.

Loaves and Fishes announces another Fill the Grand event – Act II. This year’s. September 15th event was inspired by the success of last year’s fundraiser, asking the community to fill every seat in the historic Grand theater with bags of food and funds to help end food insecurity in Hancock County. The Jonathan Fisher House of Blue Hill invites you to their Antiques Show at the Blue Hill Fairgrounds on Saturday, August 19th, form 9 until 2 p.m. The popular fundraiser is an old-fashioned country outdoor show, featuring over 30 antiques dealers from Maine and northern New England. $10 general admission, or $15 early buyer’s admission at 8 a.m. All admission proceeds benefit the historic Jonathan Fisher House museum.
