Concert in Cherryfield
The jazz quartet “Moment's Notice” will perform at the Cherryfield Academy CommunityCenter, Thursday, July 13th. Listen or dance to the music between 6 and 8 pm. Donations atthe door will benefit CACC's “The Arts” program fund.

Island Connections will hold its annual Dine-Around Day on Saturday, July 15th. The all day event encourages folks to eat at their favorite MDI restaurant or business for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert and then encourages businesses to make a donation to Island Connections, whose mission is providing free transportation for older adults and those with disabilities. Maine Audubon is holding its 40 Annual Loon Count this Saturday, July 15th. It’s statewide in all the lakes and ponds covered by volunteers. It’s extremely helpful if folks keep motorized watercraft off the water between 7 - 7:30 on Saturday, the 15th.

On Saturday, July 15 St. Andrew Lutheran Church will be hosting a community yard sale from 8 to 1 pm. All proceeds will go to the congregation’s Good Samaritan Fund. Purchases will be by donation. There will be a "Pajama, Storytime, Sing-A-Long" for children ages 3-8, from the local area.
