Christmas Fair in Ellsworth
The Ellsworth First Congregational Church is holding their annual Christmas Fair on Saturday, December 3rd from 9 to 1 at the church, located at 2 Church Street in Ellsworth. You'll be shopping for home made crafts & baked goods, berry bowls, jewelry, and one of a kind attic "treasures." Remember to bring your own shopping bags!

The 42nd annual Downtown Ellsworth Christmas Parade, sponsored by the Ellsworth Recreation Commission, takes place on Saturday, December 3rd. This year’s parade will has a NEW start time of 4:00 pm, in order to celebrate with lighted floats! Plus there is a new parade route. The theme is "Christmas at the Movies", with lineup beginning at 3 o'clock at Knowlton Park on State Street. (Snow date is December 4th.) The Senior Class of Searsport District High School is holding a Festival of Trees in the school's cafetorium on Sat. December 10th from 9 to 5, and Sunday the 11th from 9 to noon. Tickets to win the decorated trees are one dollar for 1 ticket, three dollars for five tickets, and five dollars for ten tickets. Winners will be notified on the evening of the 11th.

A pancake breakfast is happening at the Winter Harbor Masonic Hall on Sat Dec 10 from 9 to 11. All profits go to benefit the Neighbors Helping Neighbors program. Santa will be there as well. Toys for the Acadian Community Woman's Club can be dropped off (unwrapped).

The Annual Wreaths Across America pilgrimage to Arlington National Cemetery will make its stop in Ellsworth on December 11th. The event is planned for 9 a.m. at the Maine Coast Mall. The convoy will make several stops on its way to mark veterans’ graves at Arlington on December 17th.
