On Friday, September 23rd from 10 to 6, Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry will host its first-ever "Fill The Grand" food and funds drive at the Grand on Main St. in Ellsworth. The goal is to fill all 400 seats at the Grand with funds and bags of food. Sponsoring a bag is a $25 donation, with the goal being to raise 10 thousand dollars which will enable the pantry to purchase more food at their discounted rate. For more…

The Shaw Institute and Blue Hill Heritage Trust are sponsoring a family friendly beach cleanup day at Carter Nature Preserve, located on the Cross Road in Surry on Saturday, Sept 24th from 2 to 4. Turkey Shoot in Waltham
The Waltham-Eastbrook Youth Association will once again be raising money for theirscholarship fund on Sunday (10/2) from 10 am to noon with their first turkey shoot of theseason.
