Redneck BBQ in Ellsworth
Ellsworth Elks Club Lodge #2743 at 317 High Street in Ellsworth is holding a 21 and over Redneck BBQ, Membership Drive, Cornhole Tournament and 5pm Pig Roast on Saturday August 20th. Registration begins at 9am, with the tournament beginning at 10. Cost is $40 to pre-register and $50 the day of the event. All proceeds benefit Elks charities.

On Monday, August 22nd, Flash! In the Pans Steel drum Band is playing in concert in Blue Hill Town Park starting at 7:30m. This is a free concert, but your donations are gratefully accepted. All proceeds are to benefit the Ark Animal Shelter in Cherryfield.

The City of Ellsworth is seeking interested community members to volunteer for its Historic Preservation Commission. The Commission works to preserve the architectural and environmental heritage of the City. The most recent project is the Museum in the Streets display.
