Porter at DE Art and Antiques Show
Make some quick cash as a Porter at the Downeast Art & Antiques Show! You'll be helping dealers move in and out of their booths at George Stevens Academy in Blue Hill. Assistance is needed Sunday, July 31st & Monday August 1st, 8 to 6, Tuesday, 8 to 2 and Friday 4 to 1. Yoga Storytime in NE Harbor
The Northeast Harbor Library will host another outdoor yoga storytime with instructorGenevieve Billings. The session will be held on Monday, August 1st at 10:30am on the librarylawn. Christian Music Share will be on Thursday, August 4th, 6-8 p.m. and will continue to be the 1st Thursday of each month. Location is the Cherryfield Academy Community Center, 53 Main Street, Cherryfield, first floor. Come sign up to sing, play music or both or come to listen. Donations at the door will go into the CACC Programming Fund.

On Friday, August 5th, at 7pm, the Hancock Historical Society welcomes Cipperly Good, curator of the Penobscot Marine Museum in Searsport, who will present a program themed around women and the sea. Using letters, manuscripts and newspaper articles, the talk will focus on their experiences at sea.

Sullivan Daze happens on Sat Aug 6 with a parade at 10:30 am, live music all day and fireworks at 9 pm. Food, a cornhole tournament and bounce houses for children will be available. This is a fundraiser for the Sullivan Fire/Rescue. For more details visit their Facebook page.

The Ellsworth Rotary Club All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast is back! It's taking place under a big top tent in the parking lot of the DE Family YMCA on Saturday, August 6th from 7 to 10am. Tickets are $9 for adults and kids under 10 eat for $5.

The historic Jonathan Fisher House, located at 44 Mines Road, Route 172 in Blue Hill, is hosting special tours of the apple orchard on Saturday, August 6th from 1 to 4. Guides will discuss Fisher's original design and you'll tour the orchard that was re-established 20 years ago. Orchard tours are free, however, donations are welcome. Tours of the historic Jonathan Fisher House are available before or after visiting the orchard.
