Lincoln Loon Festival
The Lincoln Loon Festival is happening Thurs July 21 through Sunday July 24th. Lincoln's premier family-friendly summer festival, this 4-day event features live music, local food, artisans, a basketball tournament, a parade, fireworks over Mattanawcook Pond, and more. This year’s theme, Loon Lagoon, is sure to bring a fun, tropical beach party to Lincoln! Check out the full schedule at lincolnmaine.org or call 794-6548 with any questions. For the first time since the 1990s, Eastbrook Days returns on Saturday, July 23rd. Events run from 9 to 3, with a parade kicking off the festivities at 9am. After the parade, a variety of activities take place at the Community Building, featuring entertainment, music, carnival food and games and vendors. Fireworks cap off the celebration at Molasses Pond at 9pm.

The SPCA of Hancock County in Trenton is holding its 9th Annual Wine & Whiskers fundraiser on Tuesday, July 26th starting at 5:30pm at the Bar Harbor Club on West Street in Bar Harbor. The Hancock Woman’s Club‘s annual chicken barbecue is back Sat July 30, 11:30 to 1:00. All are welcome. A kid’s meal of hotdog, chips, drink and dessert will also be available. The cost is $15 for a 1/2 chicken meal, $10 for 1/4 and $5 for the kid’s hot dog meal. The event takes place at the Hancock Community Center, 1416 US HWY 1 in Hancock. Proceeds help fund the Club’s scholarships and children’s programs.
