PEO Pie Sale in Ellsworth
The P.E.O. Pie Ladies will be selling a wide variety of delicious homemade pies, with summertime favorites including strawberry, blueberry, strawberry rhubarb, apple and pecan, next to Reny’s in Ellsworth on Sunday, July 3, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. or until sold out. To pre-order a pie, call or text Emily at (207) 664-8222. Gluten free pies are available upon request. Pie prices are from $20 to $25. Pre-ordered pies must be picked up by 10:30 a.m.

The 1814 Jonathan Fisher House Museum located at 44 Mines Road, Rte 172 in Blue Hill, opens for tours on Wed July 6th. It will be open every Wednesday through Saturday from 1 to 4 through September 3rd. Group tours can be accomodated by calling the museum at 374-2459.

The historic Jonathan Fisher House, located at 44 Mines Road, Route 172 in Blue Hill, is hosting special tours of the apple orchard on Saturday, July 9th from 1 to 4. Guides will discuss Fisher's original design and you'll tour the orchard that was re-established 20 years ago. Orchard tours are free, however, donations are welcome. Tours of the historic Jonathan Fisher House are available before or after visiting the orchard.
