Memorial Mile Run in Ellsworth
Ellsworth YMCA Memorial Mile is happening in front of the Chamber of Commerce building at 151 High Street in Ellsworth on Monday, May 30th for a fun fast 9 am race. Pre registration fee is $15, $20 race day registration begins at 7:30am. This race is fun for the entire family! Walkers welcome too! 1st 100 get a race shirt. Sign up at DEFY.

Relay for Life in Hancock County will Celebrate, Remember and Fight Back in honor and memory of cancer patients on Sat June 4 at the Ellsworth Elementary-Middle School track with the Don Clark Memorial 5K stepping off at 8 a.m. and Relay kicking off at 11 a.m. and continuing until 11 p.m. The opening ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. to accommodate those who may have to work that morning. The Ellsworth Garden Club is holding its annual Pink Tulip Festival and Garden Sale on Saturday June 4th from 9 to 2 at Donald Little Park on State St in Ellsworth. Stock up on fresh grown annuals, perennials, herbs and veggies plus get planting tips from Garden Club members. Proceeds benefit the Pink Tulip Project and Ellsworth Garden Club.
