Arbor Day Tree Sale in Ellsworth

The Ellsworth Garden Club is having their Arbor Day Tree Sale on Fri April 27 with a focus on trees that are especially good, environmentally functional choices for local landscapes.  The selection available includes canoe or river birch, Sargent crab apples, sugar maple and white pine.  Sizes run from 18’’-24” in height—a good size for ease of planting and successful acclimatization.  Prices range from $4 to $6 and they will come with guidance on how to plant and maintain the particular tree. The sale is open to citizens of other Hancock County communities as well as Ellsworth.  All orders must be received and paid for no later than May 19 for a May 26 or 27 pick up.  For more information and to order your trees, call 667-8878
