On Tuesday, March 7, Downeast Senior College is offering a public brown bag discussion. The discussion will be held from noon-1 p.m. at Ellsworth City Hall and is free and open to the public. Participants are invited to bring a brown bag lunch. Detective Dottie Small of the Ellsworth Police Department will speak on avoiding scams. For more information, call 667-3897.
