“Bag It” Film in Ellsworth

“Bag It” is an award-winning and often flat-out-funny documentary that follows Jeb Berrier as he embarks on a global tour to unravel the complexities of our plastic world. This event takes place on Mon June 11 at 7 pm at the Moore Community Center in Ellsworth.  What starts as a film about plastic bags evolves into a deep investigation into plastic and its effect on our environment, marine life and human health.  Following the film there will be a Q&A session and discussion of efforts to reduce plastic pollution in Ellsworth and how you can help.  This is sponsored by Ellsworth Green Plan and is free to the public.  For more information, visit their web page on FaceBook.
