The Shaw Institute and Blue Hill Heritage Trust invite you to join them Saturday, Sept 15 at 9 am for a Beach Cleanup Day at Carter Nature Preserve on the Cross Road in Surry. Materials will be provided. Participants will receive coupons for Pugnuts Ice Cream Shop as a special reward for a job well done. This is a family-friendly event. Please bring water bottles and wear durable work gloves, sunscreen and sturdy shoes. For more information, call 374-5118.
