A benefit supper for Steve Grindle, Franklin assistant fire chief, will be held at the Franklin Volunteer Fire Department on Sat Aug 25 from 4-7 pm. There will chop suey, beans, biscuits, strawberry shortcake, homemade pies and much more along with a raffle that includes a cord of wood, gift certificates for local businesses, etc.
