Boat Tour to Seal Island National Wildlife Refuge

Enjoy a boat trip on Wed June 27 at 1 pm with an Island Heritage Trust guide through the archipelago to remote Seal Island National Wildlife Refuge, nesting site for thousands of pelagics: Atlantic puffins, Arctic and common terns, great cormorants, razorbills and murres. While landing is not permitted, there will be ample opportunity for viewing and photographing. The trip will depart from Old Quarry Ocean Adventures, 130 Settlement Quarry, off Oceanville Road in Stonington. The cost is $75 for Island Heritage Trust members and $85 for nonmembers.
