The 8th Annual Christmas in July Toy Run is planned for Sat July 28 from 11-5 pm at the Moosehead Trail Campground, 781 Moosehead Trail in Newport. The motorcycle toy run will leave Mill Mall in Ellsworth at 9 am and proceed to the event site. Please bring a new unwrapped toy for donation to the Greater Bangor Area Toys for Tots Program. At the event there will be food sales, 50/50 raffles, live and silent auctions and live music from area bands and musicians. Proceeds will benefit Toys for Tots and a Secret Santa program for needy families in Hancock County. For more information or to donate, call Don Clark at 667-2419 or 460-1121.
