Easter in June? This is the theme for Cottontail Cottage Rabbit Rescue’s upcoming open house, scheduled for Sunday, June 24 from 11 to 3 pm. Due to the late snowfall in March, the micro-farm sanctuary in Lamoine had to postpone its spring open house until now. The open house will feature an Easter egg hunt that will begin promptly at noon. The Easter bunny will make an appearance, refreshments and bunny face painting as well as tours. Although this is a free event, it is an important fundraiser for Cottontail Cottage. Cottontail Cottage is located at 21 Cottontail Lane, just off the Shore Road from the Lamoine Corner side by the Grange hall. Parking will be on the right side of the road.
