December 18, 2021 @ 4:30 pm

The  second annual Festival of Lights Parade that goes to the people will start at 4:30 on 12/18 and leave from the Penobscot Elementary school making its way all the way to Stonington.

Community Compass is a non-profit that works to help families and individuals in its ten town region on the Blue Hill Peninsula and Deer Isle-Stonington connect with opportunities and resources. This parade helps make people aware of services for families and individuals who may be struggling and in need of resources- especially this time of year. Community Compass helps with everything from housing, connections to heating assistance, food security resources and more.

Vehicles are still in need to be in the parade. If you were part of a business club organization or even just a family that loves Christmas and would like to be in the parade contact Jessica Valdez executive director of Community Compass at 522-7983 or by email at director@communitycompassdowneast.org
