The Ellsworth Moose Lodge children’s group, the Mooseketeers, are giving away 1000 backpacks filled with supplies to help area children to be ready to go back to school. To receive a backpack, stop by the lodge on Sat Aug 18 between 3 and 5:30 pm. The lodge is located at 47 Foster Street in Ellsworth. For more information, call Christie at 479-2199.
