Join Frenchman Bay Conservancy for the grand opening celebration of Taft Point Preserve in Gouldsboro with a guided hike of the new trails on Saturday, June 25, starting at 10 am. Refreshments will follow. This event is free, open to the public, and will take place rain or shine. For more information, contact eileen@frenchmanbay.org or call 422-2328.
Directions: From Ellsworth, head east on Rt. 1 N. Turn right on 186 in Gouldsboro. Stay on 186 for about 1.5 miles and then turn right onto Taft Point Road. Head to the end of Taft Point Road. Turn right onto the gravel drive at the Frenchman Bay Conservancy Taft Point Preserve sign. The preserve parking lot is located on the left.
