Margaretta Days in Machias

Machias Historical Society is sponsoring Margaretta Days on Sat June 16 from 10 to 3 pm at the University of Maine Machias. This event celebrates the American Revolution, specifically highlighting naval battles which took place in Machias Bay. The activities will include an encampment of soldier re-enactors, period food, children’s games, blacksmithing, timber framing, weaving, tomahawk throwing, music, storytelling, historical presentations and contemporary crafters.
