Nature Talk in Deer Isle

A nature talk is planned for Wednesday, July 26 at 10 am at Island Heritage Trust in Deer Isle. Join the author of “Mosses, Liverworts and Hornworts: A Field Guide to Common Bryophytes of the Northeast,” Ralph Pope, to learn about the importance of the often ignored plants that enrich the beauty our trails and woods. You will get the tools needed to identify most specimens without a microscope. Ralph’s well-reviewed book will be available for purchase or to borrow.
