The Pleasant River Historical Society is sponsoring a talk by Donald Soctomah on Friday, Sept 8, at 6:30 pm at Union Hall in Columbia Falls. Soctomah will be speaking on modern history of the Passamaquoddy peoples. Union Hall is located in the center of Columbia Falls village, just off Route 1. A brief business meeting will precede the program at 6. This program is free and all interested people are welcome. For more information, call 483-4777.
