The Ellsworth Garden Club is holding its annual Pink Tulip Festival and Plant Sale on Saturday, May 19, from 9 to 2 pm at the Donald A. Little Memorial Park. There will be trees, shrubs and herbaceous perennials for sale.
This family-friendly event will have a wide range of activities and informational booths available for children and adults. The Fletchers Landing Philharmonic Orchestra will provide music, and Star 97.7 will broadcast live on site. Hot dogs, donuts, drinks, baked goods and fresh produce will be available. For the younger folks there will be free plants as well as balloons, and a scavenger hunt with prizes. Planters, books and other garden-related items will be for sale in addition to a gardener-friendly raffle.
