Master Gardener Volunteers are holding a plant sale and open house on Saturday, May 25, from 8 to noon at the Hancock County Extension Office, 63 Boggy Brook Road in Ellsworth. Free workshops include “Gardening for Biodiversity” at 9am, “Bonsai Techniques” at 10 and “How to Build Watering Spaces for Birds and Insects” at 10:30. There will also be an “Ask a Master Gardener” table and children’s activites. For more information, call 667-8212.
