On Saturday, May 5, the Surry Community Improvement Association will sponsor a Surry Road clean-up day. Participants are asked to meet at the Surry Elementary school at 9 am so that clean-up areas can be assigned. The activity is scheduled to go from 9 to noon and will be followed by a light lunch of hot dogs, chips and drinks at the school. Children as well as parents are encouraged to participate.
