“Roses are Red and LEDs are Blue” Talk at Northeast Harbor Library

Wed Dec 6th at 5:30, Dwight Lanpher will be presenting called Roses are red and LEDs are blue at the Northeast Harbor Library. The Town of Mt. Desert is in the process of changing its street lighting from the existing lights to modern energy efficient and dark sky friendly LED lighting fixtures. This presentation will explain the differences between these fixtures & how they affect sky glow & the effects on human & animal life. This talk is free & open to the public & we hope that many of you come.
