Sponge Painting with Acrylics at Woodlawn Museum in Ellsworth

On Sat July 14 from 10 to 4 pm, a sponge painting with acrylics workshop is happening at Woodlawn Museum in Ellsworth. In this workshop, you will learn how to dab, streak and smear to create clouds, mountains, water, bushes, trees and flowers in the grass. You will create one 16-by-20 painting by the end of the session. Subject matter and sponges will be provided by the instructor, artist Gay Paratore.
