The Union River Festival will be held on Saturday, May 5 from noon to 4 pm at the Union River Harbor Park. The event will include speakers Adam Wilson (harbormaster) and Brett Ciccotelli (Downeast Salmon Federation), followed by live music by Destroy Them My Robots, free smoked fish samples, food by Harris Takeout and information tables by local organizations. There will also be a 2:30 pm guided paddle of the Union River (BYOB, bring your own boat). The festival will follow the annual Card Brook Cleanup in the morning.
