The Acadia Region Corvette Club will be hosting their fifth annual 'Corvette Autumn' car show at Darling's Chevrolet on Downeast Highway in Ellsworth on Saturday, September 16th.  Registration: 9:00 - 10:00 am. Show: 10:00 – 1:00 pm. Bring your Corvette or just come and enjoy!  Food on site. Benefiting Sarah's House in Holden.

The Franklin United Methodist Church is hosting a supper on Sat, Sept 16 from 5 to 6:30 pm. The menu includes beans, mac and cheese, salads, rolls and desserts. Donations will be accepted for the local fuel fund to help local residents in need.  For more information, call 565-2278.

The Tremont Congregational Church, 171 Tremont Road in Bass Harbor, will hold a baked bean and casserole supper on Saturday, Sept 16, from 5 to 7 pm. The price is $8 for adults and $4 for children under 5 free.  For more information, call 244-7876.
