Breaking the silence of domestic abuse is the goal of the event "Finding Our Voices", taking place at the Blue Hill Public Library on Thursday, April 25th. Domestic abuse survivors will share their stories between 6:30 and 8:30 pm. For more information, call the library at 374- 5515.

It's one big event at the Mountain View School in Sullivan on Saturday, April 27th. They'll be raffling off hundreds of items, including jewelry and gift cards. The City of Ellsworth's Card Brook Cleanup happens again this year on Saturday (4/27). Meet in the Ellsworth Hannaford parking lot at 9 am for sign-up, work until noon, and then enjoy a free cookout for everyone who participates. Sell all your cool stuff from your car trunk! On Saturday, April 27, 2024, the Bar Harbor Congregational Church will host a Trunk Sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the church parking lot. The Downeast Salmon Federation invites everyone to their 21st Annual Smelt Fry on Saturday, April 27th, from Noon to 4 p.m. at the Wreaths Across America Gym in Columbia Falls. They'll be offering fried smelts and fries, salmon hatchery tours, hands-on fly fishing and fly tying demos, and more!. Just turn at the fish signs on Route One in Columbia Falls. The First Congregational Church of Ellsworth's next supper is April 27th. Roast pork and gravy, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, green beans, Caesar salad, roll, tea, coffee or lemonade and home made pies all for $10.00.
