Frenchman Bay Conservancy and the town of Lamoine invite the public to celebrate Marlboro Beach on Saturday, June 23. Thanks to numerous donors and the support of Lamoine residents, the citizens of Lamoine now own Marlboro Beach and access to its valuable mud flats are ensured for the public forever. A short ceremony on the beach at 2 pm will be followed by food, entertainment, children’s activities and a clamming demonstration. For more information, call 422-2328.
